“I would like to take this opportunity to familiarize you with the luxurious dinner boat, the Capt. JP III. The Capt. JP III is by far the largest cruise vessel in the Capital District. It is certified by the US Coast Guard to accommodate 600 passengers, and seat in excess of 400 people comfortably. The Capt. JP III has two completely enclosed decks, each equipped with central air and heat, along with full service bars and dance floors on each deck. Our summer dock is at the intersection of State St and Front St in downtown Troy.
Holding your wedding aboard the Capt. JP III would surely be a unique and
memorable experience for you, and your guests. We offer a variety of entrée selections and a la carte menus, all prepared by our chefs on-board, in our well-equipped galley. We also offer entertainment, open bar packages, and a wide selection of wedding cakes. We offer afternoon, and evening cruises.

PRICING:
To determine the cost of your private charter, please reference the minimum guarantees below as well as the Packages 1 – 3. For a private charter, you must select either the Sit-Down Dinner, the Buffet, or the Heavy Hors D’oeuvres package – any beverage package or a la carte hors d’oeuvres would be in addition to this package. These packages include your meal choice, a DJ, a three-hour cruise plus an additional 30 minutes for boarding, gratuity, and your choice of linen napkin color (not included in the heavy hors d’oeuvres package).
**Additional hours are available for your private charter at a cost of $800.00 per hour.**
A 20% deposit is required within 14 days from booking in order to reserve the date. An additional 8% will be added to all charter prices for NYS sales tax.
Please note that we do accept deposit or balance payments on Visa or MasterCards, but there will be a 3% surcharge added for processing.
MINIMUM GUARANTEES:
The Captain J.P. requires that you meet minimum guarantee requirements to privately charter the boat, or to privately charter one deck. These guarantees vary, depending on day and time.

**The outside areas of the Capt. JP III are available for all of our patrons on the boat that evening.**
The Capt. JP III departs from Downtown Troy, at the intersection of State & Front Streets, where free parking is provided on all weekends, and anytime after 5PM during the weekdays.
